United Way and Thompson Rivers University (TRU) have developed an innovation hub to address issues in community. This hub houses a Collaboration Centre and a Change Lab to benefit our region and address the most pressing social issues and realities like poverty, hunger, addiction, mental health, isolation, and homelessness together with in partnership with all levels of government, the business sector, non-profit and community organizations, university research faculty and students, school districts, health authorities and the greater community.

New Gold Collaboration Room 2A

Description

Located on the second floor of the Xchange, the New Gold Collaboration room is light, bright and fully tech capable to allow combinations of in-person and virtual participation.

It  accommodates up to 20 people (*5 -6 persons with social distancing)  when the retractable dividing glass wall is closed.

The glass wall is opened when booking both 2A and 2B room together allowing space for a group of up to 50 people (10-12 persons with social distancing).

Description

Upstairs Boardroom, Office space or Collaboration Room

Description

Newly available for rental on the second floor of the Xchange. 

This room boasts beautiful natural light and offers several different rental purpose options. Currently it is available for rent as; a  large private office space, a board room, a small flexible classroom, or a meeting room. 

With social distancing it seats 5 to 6 persons when configured as shown in the photo. A board room that seats 10 to 12 persons or a presentation with an audience of 20 persons could comfortably be accommodated in this room if social distancing were not required.

Bright Ideas Break-out Room

Description

Housed on the second floor of the Xchange Regional Collaboration Centre & Change Lab, the Bright Ideas Break-out Room is a space that accommodates  8 people (*up to 4 persons with available Plexiglas barriers for Social distancing).

Rent this space along with the New Gold Collaboration rooms to enable break-out groups for your event, to brainstorm, collaborate and create. It can even be rented as a temporary office and also has a large screen and tech capabilities for presentations and virtual meeting combinations.
